However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Olomoucko. Very important is a road loss of third ranked Brno (16-6) against eleventh ranked USK Praha (5-17) on Thursday night. Visiting Brno was defeated by USK Praha in Praha 95-83. It was a good game for guard Matej Safarik (188-2003) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. Terry Henderson Jr contributed with 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. An interesting game was played in Usti nad Labem where host Usti n/Labem (#7) won against 4th ranked Decin 95-87 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Tomas Vyoral who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was Dashawn Davis with 23 points. Decin's coach Tomas Grepl rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Usti n/Labem (11-11) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Opava. Loser Decin keeps the fourth position with eight games lost.

Rest of the games of round 24 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
NH Ostrava defeated Slavia in a road game 77-74. Opava was beaten by Brno at home 79-89. Bottom-ranked H.Kralove lost to Srsni Pisek on the opponent's court 74-89. USK Praha lost to defending champion Nymburk in a home game 79-109. Opava recorded a loss to Pardubice on the road 75-84. Bottom-ranked H.Kralove was defeated by Slavia on its own court 90-93.



Slavia - NH Ostrava 74-77

There was no surprise in Praha where 10th ranked Slavia (5-17) was edged by eighth ranked NH Ostrava (9-13) 77-74 on Saturday. NH Ostrava forced 19 Slavia turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian swingman Elias Cato (206, college: Cent Arkansas) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and the former international forward Lukas Palyza (203-1989) who added 16 points during the contest. NH Ostrava's coach Adam Choleva used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward David Bohm (205-2001, college: EWU) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Rubin Jones (196, college: Michigan) scored 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals.
